Ingredients

Scale

Slider Assembly

  • 9 pack slider buns
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo hot sauce
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella recommended)

Garlic Butter

  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 inch baking sheet or casserole dish with parchment paper to prevent sticking and for easy cleanup.
  2. Prepare Chicken Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with Frank’s buffalo hot sauce, ranch dressing, salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix thoroughly so the chicken is evenly coated with the flavorful sauce and spices.
  3. Assemble Sliders: Place the bottom halves of the slider buns on the prepared baking sheet. Evenly distribute the buffalo chicken mixture over each bottom bun. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the chicken, then close each slider with the top halves of the buns.
  4. Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Using a pastry brush, brush this flavorful garlic butter evenly over the tops of the slider buns for a golden, aromatic crust.
  5. Bake Covered: Cover the baking sheet tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven at 350°F for 15 minutes. This allows the sliders to heat through and the cheese to begin melting.
  6. Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, or until the tops of the buns are lightly golden and the cheese is fully melted.
  7. Serve: Remove from the oven, cut between sliders, and serve immediately while hot. These sliders pair well with celery sticks, carrot sticks, or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • You can use any shredded cooked chicken, such as rotisserie chicken or leftover grilled chicken.
  • For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or hot sauce to the chicken mixture.
  • Use your favorite shredded cheese; cheddar or mozzarella works best for melting.
  • To make ahead, assemble sliders and refrigerate; bake when ready to serve, adding a few extra minutes to cooking time.
  • Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing and crunchy vegetables for a classic Buffalo wing experience.
