For the Salad:
- 3.4 ounces instant vanilla pudding mix
- ¾ cup whole milk
- 8 ounces Cool Whip or 1 cup heavy whipping cream, beat to stiff peaks
- 5 Granny Smith apples, cored and chopped
- 5 Snickers bars, chopped
For Garnish:
- 1 Granny Smith apple, sliced
- 1 Snickers bar, chopped
- ¼ cup caramel sauce (optional)
- Prepare the Salad Base: In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping (Cool Whip) or whipped cream.
- Prepare the Fruits and Candy: Core and chop all but one of the apples. Chop all but one Snickers bar into bite-sized pieces.
- Combine Ingredients: Fold in the chopped apples and Snickers into the pudding mixture. Mix until well combined.
- Chill and Serve: Cover the salad and refrigerate until ready to serve. Just before serving, top with the remaining apple and Snickers. Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired and enjoy!
Notes
- You can add a sprinkle of chopped nuts for extra crunch.
- If making in advance, toss chopped apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
