Instructions

  3. Press into Pan: Transfer the coated cereal mixture into a 9×13 inch pan and firmly press it down evenly using a spatula or clean hands to form the base layer.
  4. Melt Caramels: In a medium saucepan, combine the 11 oz bag of caramels with 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream over medium heat. Stir frequently until the caramel is fully melted and smooth, creating the Samoa caramel layer.
  5. Toast Coconut: Spread 1 1/2 cups coconut on a baking tray. Toast in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes, stirring regularly to prevent burning. Remove and let cool.
