  • 2 1/2 cups green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces

For the Chicken:

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth (or water)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Green Beans: Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the green beans and cook for approximately 3-4 minutes until tender. Remove and set aside.

  3. Combine Chicken and Green Beans: Add green beans back to the pan and cook for 2 more minutes.
  4. Prepare the Sauce: Whisk together chicken broth, honey, and soy sauce. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water until smooth.
  5. Finish the Dish: Pour the sauce over the chicken and green beans in the pan. Cook for 30 seconds, stirring to coat.
