Ingredients

Scale

Dough:

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough

Taco Meat:

  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning

Cheese Blend:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Additional:

  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salsa and sour cream for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook beef: In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning. Set aside.
  3. Prepare dough: Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
  4. Assemble: Spread the taco meat over half of the dough. Top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Fold the dough over the filling and press edges to seal.
  5. Cut and twist: Cut the dough into 1-inch strips. Twist each strip and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Season and bake: Brush the sticks with melted butter, sprinkle with garlic powder, and bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve: Serve with salsa and sour cream for dipping.

Notes

  • You can customize the toppings by adding diced tomatoes, jalapeños, or black olives before baking.
  • For a vegetarian version, swap the ground beef for plant-based crumbles.
