Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 24 ounces (680g) bright white candy melts
  • 3/4 cup (229g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon bubble gum flavoring
  • 4 drops pink food gel color
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • Assorted pink sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan: Line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving the parchment overhanging the sides for easy fudge removal.
  2. Melt the candy mixture: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the candy melts, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Microwave in 40-second intervals, stirring in between, until the candy is mostly melted but still slightly lumpy. Stir until smooth.
  3. Add flavor and color: Quickly stir in the vanilla extract, bubble gum flavoring, and pink food gel color until the mixture is evenly pink.
  4. Pour base layer: Pour one-third of the pink candy mixture into the prepared baking pan.
  5. Mix with marshmallows: Add the miniature marshmallows to the remaining two-thirds of the pink mixture in the bowl and stir to coat thoroughly.
  6. Add marshmallow layer: Pour the marshmallow-coated mixture over the base layer in the pan. Use an offset spatula to spread it evenly.
  7. Decorate: Sprinkle assorted pink sprinkles evenly over the top layer.
  8. Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for 2 to 3 hours until fully set.
  9. Cut and serve: Remove the fudge from the pan by lifting the parchment handles, then cut into 16 equal squares and serve.

Notes

  • Use a silicone spatula to ensure easy stirring and spreading of sticky fudge.
  • Microwave times may vary; stir well after each interval to avoid burning.
  • For a stronger bubblegum flavor, you can add an extra 1/2 teaspoon of bubble gum flavoring if desired.
  • The fudge can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • Allow fudge to come to room temperature slightly before serving for best texture.
