Apple Delight is a luscious no-bake dessert with layers of creamy filling and sweet apple pie topping, finished with a crunchy pecan garnish.

    For the Crust

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 Tablespoons light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 7 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Filling

  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 ounce)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 container Cool Whip, thawed, divided (16 ounce)
  • 2 cans apple pie filling (21 ounce each)
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. For the crust: Combine graham cracker crumbs with brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until evenly coated. Press firmly into the bottom of a 13×9 baking dish. Freeze while preparing the filling.
  2. For the filling: In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in half of the Cool Whip (8 ounces) and spread over the frozen crust.
  3. Spoon apple pie filling over the cream cheese layer, arranging evenly.
  4. Top with the remaining Cool Whip. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped pecans if desired. Serve cold.

Notes

  • This dessert can be prepared a day in advance for convenience.
  • Feel free to customize by adding a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg on top.
