Ramen Noodles:

  • 2 cakes dry instant ramen noodles (140 g)
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onion stalks, thinly sliced (white and green parts separated)
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes or coarse chili powder
  • 2 tablespoon white sesame seeds

Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional)
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  1. Toast sesame seeds: Toast sesame seeds in a pan over medium heat until golden. Transfer to a bowl.
  2. Prep the sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, water, and cornstarch in a bowl. Set aside.
  3. Cook the ramen: Boil water in a pot, cook ramen noodles per package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  4. Stir fry ramen: Heat sesame oil in a pan, sauté white parts of green onion and garlic. Add chili flakes, sauce, cooked noodles, scallion greens, and sesame seeds. Mix and serve hot.
